    The personal fonds of the collector Borisas Gurinovičius, who was able to survive the Holocaust in the East of Soviet Union. His sizable collection consists of a large number of old postcards with views of Vilnius of towns in Byelorussia. There are also personal documents of the collector, correspondence, panels from exhibitions, personal photos and portraits, etc.

    The personal fonds of a famous Jewish writer who was able to escape in the first days of the Second World War to the East of the Soviet Union. There he joined to the Lithuanian 16th division of the Red Army and survived the Holocaust. The files of the fonds consist of drafts, notes, novels with corrections, articles, translations, diaries; personal documents, photos, correspondence; video documents; documents collected by J. Josadė; documents of family members about J. Josadė).

    The personal fonds of a famous Jewish writer who was hidden and adopted by a Lithuanian peasant family and survived the war. The files of the fonds consist of drafts with the author's corrections, translations of his novels into Russian, screenplays for films, personal documents, correspondence, photos. His novels are natural and precise, and are based on personal experiences and the tragic experiences of Lithuanian Jews in the Holocaust.

  11. Varėnoje sušaudytų žydų šeimų sąrašas

    The list was compiled by survivor David Jeršanski’s daughter-in-law Rina Jeršansky-Dubrovič (her father was from Kaunas); it includes surnames of 49 Jewish families (149 persons). These people were from the small towns of Perloja and Nedzingė. The list was given to the Holocaust Exhibition on 6 June 2001 by Rina Jeršansky-Dubrovič.

    This fonds contains official orders, decrees, proclamations, and announcements from the occupying authorities. Proclamation by the Liberation propaganda headquarters in Lithuania: proclamation urging people to fight the "Jewish constitution" and demeaning Jews. Appeal to fight Soviet rule; appeal to fight the Jews. The Jews accused of deporting Lithuanians. Proclamation of the information bureau of Lithuania in Berlin (part 4 is addressed to Jews: they are advised to "get out of Lithuania to avoid becoming unnecessary victims"). Call to expropriate Jews' property.

    Personal fonds of Pediatrician Petras Baublys who 1942-1944 worked as a director of an orphanage in Kaunas. Help for the Kaunas ghetto underground organization to hide children in the orphanage. The fonds consist of articles, abstracts, publications, reports and conferences' papers, various notes on medicine topic and issues, correspondence, lectures' material; various documents and photos with collegues.

    The document consists of the information about the rescuing of documents from the Vilnius ghetto undertaken by Anna (Ona) Szymajte (Šimaitė). In the document she has listed what exactly was taken from the ghetto and then hidden outside it.
