    Il fondo consiste di documentazione fotografica molto eterogenea, ma quasi tutta attribuibile alla seconda metà del Novecento. La maggior parte del materiale ritrae il ghetto e i suoi monumenti, il cimitero ebraico e il museo. Nel caso di fotografie dei momenti di ritrovo della comunità non sempre è stato possibile identificarne i membri. Il fondo non esaurisce il patrimonio di immagini e fotografie conservate presso la biblioteca archivio Renato Maestro: nuclei di fotografie sono conservati nei fondi Lattes Luzzatto, Sereni Paolo, Rossi Giorgio, Voghera Giorgio, Provenienze diverse.

    La donazione Lattes Luzzatto conserva principalmente corrispondenza e carte familiari, sia di Dante Lattes che della famiglia della figlia Lina e del nipote Amos Luzzatto. Le carte sono state suddivise in: 1) corrispondenza, suddivisa in fascicoli per decade, comprensiva anche dei telegrammi e delle lettere di condoglianze per la famiglia; 2) documentazione che tocca diversi aspetti della vita quotidiana dei membri della famiglia Lattes Luzzatto (cursus studiorum, tessere annonarie, comunicazioni legate ai ruoli istituzionali ecc.); 3) fotografie; 4) scritti.
