    The collection covers the period from 1914 to 1949, with a particular emphasis on the 1930s (the Interbellum), the Second World War, the Bersiap period in the Dutch East Indies and the aftermath of the war.

Its acquisition policy focuses on studies of war and conflict in the 20th and 21st century in their political,cultural and social contexts.   3. Jewish Council for Amsterdam

    The archive consists of correspondence, newsletters and financial documents from the chairmen of the Jewish Council and various departments and bureaus. The documents give insight into German policy and the fate of individual Jews.
