  1. Camps d'internement dans la Vienne

    Par la période qu'il concerne (Occupation et Libération), ainsi que par les sujets qu'il permet d'aborder, l'ensemble 109 W est revêtu d'un intérêt historique évident. Comportant des documents rédigés en langue allemande (circulaires de l'autorité allemande, éléments de correspondance émanant de la Feldkommandantur 677 – le plus souvent traduits – , listes et rapports – bilingues –) ainsi qu'un ensemble de 32 photographies, il permet d'appréhender les modalités d'application dans la Vienne occupée de la législation anti-juive, ainsi que certains aspects de la période sensible de l'Epuration...

    Les archives données par Lionel Martin comprennent des documents, tapuscrits pour l'essentiel, sur le fonctionnement de la compagnie FTP Franquis et de la 3e compagnie du bataillon Foges en 1944, des négatifs photographiques (militaires allemands ; opérations militaires françaises du 27e BCA dans les Alpes en hiver 1944-1945 ; exécution de Lelong et Marion), quelques périodiques et des reproductions de papiers officiels personnels sur son parcours militaire.

    Le fonds comprend d'une part des documents concernant les activités de l'abbé Truffy en 1944 et après la guerre (permis de circulation, courrier reçu ou envoyé, témoignages lors de l'Épuration...), d'autre part des éléments en rapport avec la rédaction de son ouvrage sur les événements du plateau de Glières (copies de messages du commissariat frontalier, chronologie d'événements, tapuscrits, coupures de presse...).

    Le versement contient les registres de paie du centre médico-scolaire de Megève de 1943 à 1945. Megève est sous contrôle italien, environ 800 Juifs étrangers y vivent en résidence assignée. Le centre médico-scolaire de Megève est géré par l'Oeuvre de secours aux enfants (OSE), dirigé par Jacques et Nicole Salon, et accueille pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale des enfants juifs. Dès l'annonce du retrait des troupes italiennes en juillet 1943, l'évacuation des Juifs s'organise dans l'urgence avant l'occupation allemande de la zone.   5. Archives des Justes de Haute-Savoie

    Numériquement, la partie la plus importante (45 cotes) du fonds est constituée des dossiers nominatifs des Justes de Haute-Savoie qui ont été constitué par Herbert Herz, au cours de son activité en tant que délégué départemental pour le mémorial Yad Vashem. Le fonds contient, également, quelques dossiers liés à des recherches (événements survenus au cours de tentatives de passages vers la Suisse durant l'Occupation, notices biographiques, etc.) effectuées par M. Herz.

In each questionnaire the children were required to write down their names, place and year of birth and also share their experiences during the war.     Decision declaring the Jew Jurij Bader and his family from Dolnja Lendava dead. Note: Most of the Jews from Lendava were taken to Velika Kaniža on April 26, 1944, from where they were then transported to Auschwitz. According to the testimony of Jurij Bader's cousin, Pavel Bader, Jurij Bader was released in Velika Kaniža (Nagykanizsa) so that he could return to Lendava. In October 1944, they were interned once again. They were taken to prisons in Budapest, where they died during the bombing of Budapest at the end of 1944.
