Scope and Content

The first page of this file is a cover page with the heading "Sicherheitsdienst des RFSS. SD Hauptamt" with the year 1936 stamped underneath and another stamp in the upper right corner saying "651 C". The second and the third page contain twice the same newspaper page 4 from "Der Angriff", (The Aussault), [issue unknown] with articles where a connection to Schmitt cannot be seen. The pages are faded and hardly fully readable. The titles of the articles are: "Leichte Musik gebärdet sich schwer. Rückblick auf das Pyrmonter Musikfest"; "Wartburg als Treffpunkt. Die Dichter der Rose"; "Noch führt Polen. Schach-Olympia vor dem Ende"; "Dem toten Helden und Sänger. Gedächtnisfeier für Hermann Löns"; "Rust besuchte Hersfeld. Faust-Aufführung in der Ruine"; "Der betrogene Betrüger. Uraufführung von Josef Wenters Prinz Tunora"; "Kulturpolitische Rundschau" and "Kurz gesagt-Klein gedruckt". The fourth and fifth page contain also twice the same newspaper page 3 from "Der Angriff" (The Aussault), [issue unknown], also faded and hardly readable with the following main article mentioning Schmitt: "Instanz gegen Instanz. Die humane Inquisition. Ohne Geständnis kein Todesurteil" (Instance against instance. The human inquisition. Without guilty plea no death-sentence). Schmitt is cited as a famous protagonist of National Socialist law and his counterfeit is depicted. What exactly is said about him in the article is hardly readable. Other articles on this page are: "Unsere Kurzgeschichte. Das himmelblaue Wunder" and "Unterhose feiert Jubiläum. Da denkt der Generalstab anders. Ein Regiment als Versuchskarnickel". In the other articles further reference of Schmitt cannot be found.
