Walter Buch was the Supreme Judge of the Nazi Party since 1934. Hitler appointed him to this possition and elevated him to the rank of SS-Gruppenfuhrer, or lieutenant general. He administered justice according to Adolf Hitler's anti-Semitic principles. He was well known for his sadism and cruelty not only toward Jews but also toward Germans.
