History
In the RHC Vecht en Venen and on this site, you will find the archives of the municipalities of Stichtse Vecht, De Bilt, De Ronde Venen and Weesp. More than 600 years of heritage are stored in these depots. The main office and largest reading room is located in the Cultuurhuis in Breukelen. The archives of Stichtse Vecht, De Bilt and De Ronde Venen are housed here. You can also visit changing exhibitions here. In the depot of the municipal office in Weesp, you can consult the archives of Weesp.
Opening Times
The municipal archives are open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.00 to 12.00.
Conditions of Access
To see the municipal archives you have to make an appointment with the reading room attendant. Doing your own research in the municipal archive is free. You can also request information from the municipal archives by e-mail or by post. If extensive research is required, this will involve costs.
