Klooster Sint Agatha - Erfgoedcentrum Nederlands Kloosterleven

History

The Erfgoedcentrum Nederlands Kloosterleven is located in the front wing of the old monastery and in a newly built archive depot on the monastery grounds. In the centre, over 100 orders and congregations from all over the Netherlands bring together their heritage: archives, publications, historical objects and audiovisual material.

Opening Times

The reading room is open on Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Please notify in advance of your visit by telephone or email. The staff can then prepare your visit and inform you about special closing dates.

Conditions of Access

The heritage can be consulted in the reading room and in exhibitions. The catalogues and archive inventories of the centre can be consulted via the website.

In many cases, it is necessary to obtain written permission from the owner of the archive concerned in order to view archive material. An application form for obtaining such written permission can be sent by e-mail or by post.

Archive records relating to living persons are not made available for inspection, unless with the permission of the persons concerned. You can find other rules concerning the reading room in the reading room regulations.
