History

The Groene Hart Archieven- Streekarchief Midden-Holland (Groene Hart archives - Midden-Holland Regional Archives) have been split into two seperate archives, namely Streekarchief Rijnlands-Midden (Rijnlands-Midden Regional Archives) Streekarchief Midden-Holland (Midden-Holland Regional Archives).

Archival and Other Holdings

The Streekarchief Midden-Holland manages materials related to the Second World War ranging from a collection of the Jewish community in Gouda from 1900-1950, to a collection of war documentation from Midden-Holland from 1933-1950, and the archive of the Waddinxveen municipal secretariat from 1936-1975.

Opening Times

The reading room is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. Always make an appointment. Closed on: Good Friday, Ascension Day, Friday after Ascension Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, New Year's Day. PLEASE NOTE: archive documents must be requested one working day in advance. You can do this at home via the website.
